The TOEIC® Speaking and Writing tests, objective and fair tests to assess the global workforce

The TOEIC® Speaking and Writing tests have become a standard by decision makers worldwide, who use the TOEIC test to determine who can communicate effectively on an independent and proficient level in English across borders and cultures with co-workers and clients.

The TOEIC® Speaking and Writing tests certification offers an international standard for measuring and determining language skills of non-native speakers in the daily life and global workplace. The tests use common everyday vocabulary, phrases and key expressions that reflect real-world tasks and provide information that enables score users to fairly and easily:

TOEIC® Speaking & Writing Test Content

The tests take in total 1½ hours to complete, if taken together. Test takers speak and write in English and give their responses to real-world questions and scenarios. The test does not require specialised knowledge or vocabulary beyond that of a person who uses English in everyday life and work activities.

The test is designed to provide information about the Speaking language ability of speakers across a range of English proficiency.
